About hello social
Our office is in Chesterfield but we still take a hybrid approach. That’s right, a company in 2023 that actually isn’t 100% WFH since face time is important to us, our culture and the company we’re trying to build.
But let’s be real, we treat adults like adults – if you need to leave a bit early to pick your kid up or go to a specific gym class, that’s cool too ✌️
WE'RE PASSIONATE ABOUT HELPING ENTREPRENEURS.
Our mission is to help entrepreneurs, founders and leaders turn their businesses into profitable assets. Coaching them through the best marketing strategies in the world that deliver real results.
WE’RE MARKETING FOCUSSED.
We have clients on LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. We create personal branding websites, film and edit video campaigns and ghostwrite long-form content on behalf of some pretty cool people.
WE'RE A STARTUP.
If you only want to do what's in the 'job description' or are not a fan of collaborating with your team - this isn't the place for you.
WE'RE SMALL BUT RAPIDLY GROWING.
We need people who are fearless in taking the initiative to solve a problem in their first week, muck in to get something across the line for their department and be a real team player (1 team 1 dream vibes).
WE'RE FOCUSED ON YOUR PROFESSIONAL GROWTH.
Working for a startup is like having your personal and professional growth on steroids. If you want to learn a whole host of new skills (some you didn't even realise you wanted to learn), fast-track your progression, and build out your dream role - you'll love it here, and we'd love to have you.
About the role
We're looking for a strategic thinker and creative operator to lead our marketing efforts at Hello Social Avenue. As Head of Marketing, you’ll be responsible for driving lead generation across digital and offline campaigns, managing budgets, and owning the performance of every campaign that carries our name—or our clients’.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who can confidently jump into a client meeting one minute and be optimising a full-funnel campaign the next.
A go-getter with a personality that is ambitious to grow and achieve. Progression in achievement terms and in your career are both key drivers for you.
You’ll be working in a startup with a big vision to make marketing simple. You’ll play a key role in enrolling small to medium business owners into one of our most popular agency or training programmes.
Lead generation is the primary focus of your role.
What you’ll be responsible for:
• Leading all marketing campaigns (internal and external), from strategy through to execution and performance tracking
• Managing the full marketing budget, allocating spend to maximise ROI and drive measurable business outcomes
• Running lead generation campaigns across paid social, search, email, events and offline channels
• Working closely with the CEO, Head of Strategy, and content team to ensure every campaign is aligned with business objectives
• Regularly speaking to clients—in meetings, on calls, and sometimes at events—so communication and confidence are key
• Reviewing and improving performance data across platforms, campaigns and client projects
• Understanding audience psychology, ideally using frameworks like DISC, to tailor campaigns and messaging
• Playing a key role in new campaign launches and product offerings, working hand-in-hand with the sales team
• Leading and mentoring junior marketers to ensure campaigns are delivered to the highest standard
You are smart, hardworking, a troubleshooter and focused.
Requirements-wise, you’ll need the below to smash this role:
• Understand the benefits social media and digital marketing can bring to a business (don’t worry, we don’t expect you to know everything just yet!)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Has 5+ years experience in a senior marketing role—agency or in-house
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
• A clear understanding of what DISC is
• Strong networking skills to build relationships with prospective and existing clients
• Adept at using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and data
• In-depth knowledge of marketing strategy, marketing metrics and content reports
• Confident in speaking at networking environments
• Highly organised and detail-oriented with an ability to multitask.
• Already has or wants to build a personal brand.

• Flexible benefits – we let you have every Friday afternoon off for your well-being, go to the park, see friends or just get home early and miss the traffic!
